Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you for visiting my site and taking some time to learn more about my re-election campaign.

As you may have heard, all of the potential challengers in this race failed to collect enough valid signatures to qualify, so only the three incumbents will be listed on the ballot.

This dramatically changed the dynamics of the race, virtually assuring my re-election. Even so, I want you to know that I will continue to reach out to voters. As I see it, I have a responsibility to tell you what I've been working on, to explain my positions on the issues, and to solicit your input.

It has been a real honor to serve you and to represent this remarkable city for the last four years.

Working together we have: strengthened our economy by directly investing in the creation of new manufacturing jobs, built new affordable housing, promoted energy efficiency and renewable power, improved our roads and bike lanes, prioritized public safety, and expanded recreational opportunities for all ages.

We’ve made real progress, but there is still more work to be done. I would appreciate your vote once again, so that I can continue to represent you at Arcata City Hall.
